I just noticed that the calendar says November! This means our family is on the fast track. About 90% of our life happens between November 1 and January 30. Birthdays, Thanksgiving, Anniversary, Gotcha Day, Christmas, New Years, more Birthdays, UGH!
So, my battle cry for the next 3 months is:
"Happy Birth-thanks-anniv-gotcha-christmas-new years-day!"
I think I will have to practice saying it a few times to get it right!

Thanks for stopping by our blog! I have to ask - what is Gotcha Day?
Great Question! This is a regular occurance for most adoptive families (we have one child by birth and one child by adoption). It is the day that your adoptive child was placed in your arms. The day we 'gotcha'. For some families, this is the same day as their child's birthday, for others, it is not. In our case, Gotcha Day is December 19 and our daughter's birthday is March 20...she came to be in our family at the age of 9 months (well, one day shy). We will have a small family celebration each year on her Gotcha Day. Thanks for asking!
